The Confident Communicators Club is a participant-facilitated group focusing on public speaking and leadership. IT is similar to a Toastmasters Club format.
Participants will work on public speaking skills through prepared talks and impromptu short talks — all while being supported by volunteers, grad students, and the Speech Pathologist.
A person with any level of aphasia can join- use whatever works to communicate your ideas. It is a way to challenge yourself to go farther with communicating while still being in a safe and supportive environment.
Each participant will eventually be able to take on a role as well – timekeeper, evaluator, wordmaster, etc.
