It is Day 9 of MnCAN’s 30 Days of Life with Aphasia — Meet Russ!

Russ joined MnCAN a few years ago, and he is such a welcomed addition to any group. He greets everyone with a handshake as they arrive and makes a point to include everyone in the conversation. His steady smile, curiosity, and willingness to try new challenges brighten every session.

Russ loves listening to others’ experiences with aphasia and is always genuinely interested in the stories people share. Recently, he reached a meaningful life participation goal – giving a speech in front of others – a moment that left him feeling very proud.

We are honored to celebrate Russ today!
