Day 10 of MnCAN’s 30 Days of Life with Aphasia — Meet Marilyn!

Marilyn has been part of MnCAN for many years and is involved in several of our groups. She’s truly one of a kind, always demonstrating warmth, thoughtfulness, and a deep commitment to supporting others living with Primary Progressive Aphasia PPA and /Primary Progressive Apraxia of Speech (PPAOS) .

Her advocacy reaches far beyond Minnesota. Marilyn served on the National Aphasia Association’s Ask the Expert panel, using her voice and lived experience to help others feel informed, empowered, and less alone. She is determined and purposeful, never letting her message go unsaid.

Her passion for educating others about PPA and PPAOS is unwavering and inspiring to everyone who meets her.

We’re honored to have her be part of our MnCAN community and celebrate her.
