Welcome to Day 6 of MnCAN’s 30 Days of Life with Aphasia — today we’re celebrating Mary!  Mary came to MnCAN after her neurologist recommended she connect with other people with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA). What began as a referral has grown into a powerful presence in our community. A natural connector, Mary brings people together with ease. She’s strongly social and surrounded by a strong, caring network that supports her. She reflects that same support back into the community attending events across MnCAN, lifting others up, and speaking openly about both her challenges and her hope. Her advocacy helps others feel seen, supported, and less alone. We’re so glad she’s part of the MnCAN community. #mnnonprofit #AphasiaSupport #CarePartners #mnnonprofits #caregivereducation #Resilience Be part of the movement! This month, you can make an impact by sharing awareness, deepening your understanding of aphasia and PPA, supporting our mission, and helping others feel truly seen and supported. Collective action matters. |
