May is Better Hearing and

Speech Month!

"Building a Strong Foundation" is the theme for 2023's Better Hearing and Speech month. This idea stems from the thought that hearing is a strong foundation in relation to communication success. 

All month long, MnCAN wants to recognize our Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) who make up the strong foundation to our success! Without YOU, our group facilitator SLPs, we would not be able to touch the lives of so many people with aphasia. 

Do You Want to be More Involved?

As we approach the halfway mark of 2023, MnCAN is looking for volunteers to help with fundraising, event planning, procurement, outreach and more!

We are also in the midst of recruiting three individuals to join our dedicated Board of Directors, with terms starting July of 2023!

June is Aphasia Awareness Month!

This June we will be counting on YOU, our participants, care partners and supporters to help spread awareness of aphasia, and the related programs and services MnCAN offers! 

During the month of June You will get to create a peer-to-peer campaign page in which you can educate, share your relation to aphasia, and help raise awareness!
