DESCRIPTION:Aphasia conversation groups are 6-7 people with aphasia who gather to practice conversation techniques and find connection. The groups are facilitated by a speech language pathologist and focus on both the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA) and Supportive Conversation for Aphasia (SCA). Conversation groups are a great opportunity to gain confidence and build friendships to continue to participate in life with aphasia. Registration is required. If you are interested in learning more\, please email us at contact@mncan.org or call 612-524-8802. \nCURRENT PARTICIPANTS: Please call or email if you are uncertain about meeting location within United Hospital. The group facilitator will send the location to your email address each week. \nThank you!
