Linda Fierce

Many Thanks to Linda Fierce for 4 Years of Service to Minnesota Connect Aphasia Now!

Linda Fierce brought a wide variety of valuable service to MnCAN. As Board Secretary, she represented the vital voice of care partners, as her husband John has been living well after stroke and with aphasia for 13 years. John started with the Burnsville Communication Group in the fall of 2005 which eventually became a MnCAN aphasia conversation group in 2014. MnCAN Speech Pathologist group facilitator Sarah Helm has been with John over all these years.

Linda started out as a member of MnCAN's Founder's Team right from the start. Linda shares, "That's only four years ago and yet, the work accomplished in establishing and growing MnCAN in this time frame is truly amazing. From the first steps of creating the MnCAN identity, figuring out the parameters of who and what we wanted this organization to be, developing the vision of MnCAN through the strategic planning process and now witnessing it's continued growth and development, it's been a wonderful team effort and an honor and privilege to be a contributor on this journey."
